Project Wingspan participants will increase their awareness of monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) management in Canada, as well as how they can make a positive difference locally and regionally. We focus on building knowledge of plants important to the monarch, including how to correctly identify them in the field and how to collect seed using best management practices.
