Shining the spotlight on pollinators
Pollinators suffer from many threats, such as habitat loss and climate change, but they also suffer from not being known and recognized for their true value.
Discover our different programs designed to help you gain a better understanding of pollinators and spread awareness in your community. From the Pollinator Steward Certification to joining a network of over 180 bee communities across Canada or by celebrating pollinators during Pollinator Week, there are countless ways to join the pollinator movement.
Our Education & Awareness Programs:
Pollinator Steward Certification
The Pollinator Steward Certification program (PSC) empowers people with the scientific know-how to make a real difference for pollinators, people, and the planet. This course is ideal for home gardeners, land managers (large and small), farmers, and anyone that wants to do more to support pollinators. Join our growing community of Certified Pollinator Stewards!
Bee City Canada
Bee City Canada is a program that recognizes and supports municipalities, Indigenous Communities, campuses, schools, and other organizations that are taking action to protect and promote pollinators. Become a Bee City, Bee Campus, or Bee School to show your commitment to protecting pollinators and their habitats, and join our network of over 180 Bee Communities!
Pollinator Week
Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health that was initiated, and is managed, by Pollinator Partnership. It is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them.
NAPPC
NAPPC is a growing, collaborative body of more than 170 diverse partners, including respected scientists, researchers, conservationists, government officials and dedicated volunteers. NAPPC's mission is to encourage the health of resident and migratory pollinating animals in North America.
