Pollinator Partnership Canada 2025 Land Acknowledgment
Pollinator Partnership Canada acknowledges the value of Indigenous peoples' historical and ongoing advocacy, protection, and care of biodiversity and Earth systems. With staff distributed across North America, we recognize that the lands we are located on are as diverse as the Indigenous nations and communities who historically and currently inhabit them. Our staff are currently located on the territories of: the Mississaugas of the Credit (miss-iss-awg-ahs of the cred-it), the Anishinaabeg (ah-nish-naw-bek), the Chippewa (chi-pe-wah), the Haudenosaunee (ho-den-o-sho-knee), the Métis (may-tee), the Wendake-Nionwentsïo (wen-da-kuh nee-on-wen-tsi-oh), Yellowknives Dene First Nation (deh-nay), the Algonquin First Nation (al-gong-kin) and the Attiwonderonk (at-ee-won-der-onk). Our Board of Directors are located on the territories of: the Ramaytush (rah-my-toosh) and Muwekma Ohlone peoples (mah-wek-mah oh-low-nee), the Anishinabewaki (anish-inaw-beh-wak-eh), the Haudenosaunee, the Wendake-Nionwentsïo, the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Attiwonderonk.
May we continue to learn, humble ourselves, and work toward being better allies in relation with the land and the Indigenous peoples of the places we work in and call home.
