Help support native bees!

In 2017, the United Nations designated May 20 as World Bee Day to recognize the essential role that bees and other pollinators play in ecosystems around the world. The Bee Blitz campaign celebrates this officially recognized World Bee Day.
This year, Pollinator Partnership Canada aims to raise awareness about the diversity of native bee species in North America.
Did you know that over 4,000 species of native bees can be found in North America alone?
Join us for the Bee Blitz 2025 campaign and help us raise $4,000 for helping the 4,000 native bee species of North America!
About the Bees
Bees are the most famous pollinators! Did you know that there are over 4,000 species of bees native to North America? This diversity of species provides us with many services, enabling flowering plants to reproduce. Thanks to bees, we have access to rich and varied food, our soils are healthier and the trees that grow thanks to them help prevent climate change!
Unfortunately, these bees are disappearing due to lack of habitat, climate change and the use of pesticides. But more than that, these species are disappearing into the shadows, due to our ignorance and lack of knowledge about them.
This year, let's celebrate the diversity of North American bees and all the benefits they bring to local ecosystems. Let's get to know them better and bring them into the spotlight!
