Aki is a wife, mother and grandmother and also a Climate Reality Leader, a David Suzuki Butterflyway Ranger and a Certified Pollinator Steward. She is the co-administrator of the Oakville Climate Action Facebook group and the past Board Secretary for Oakvillegreen. As a David Suzuki Butterflyway Ranger, she has established over 20 pollinator patches in Oakville including two patches for the Town. She currently is a member of the Halton Solid Waste Advisory Committee. She is committed to leaving the planet a better place to live for future generations.
